You can book a lesson with a tutor – in 3 ways.
Post a job. Within 24 hours, you’ll receive proposals from prospective tutors. Go through the proposals(to see proposals you’ve received – go to your posted job, and click view proposals.
View the proposals, from the proposals that meets your expectations, cross check the tutor profiles to make sure they have the right qualification, rates, experience, review from other students and learning style you desire.
Once you’ve pick the prospective tutor, chat / message the tutor to ask about their availability. You can chat with the tutor right from the proposal page. Confirm that the tutor is available at the time you’d want the lesson for.
After this is confirmed, Book the tutor. When you click book the tutor, you will receive a prompt asking if you’re sure you want to book this tutor.
Thereafter, you’ll be redirected to the payments page. All payments are entirely and securedly processed by Paystack. OnlineTutorLy do not keep any of your card information on our server. When you click place your order and pay now, you’ll be redirected to the payment page where you can choose the most convenient way to pay. You can pay via your debit card, bank transfer or ussd code.
Upon successful payment, return to your dashboard. Right below, you’ll see the lesson has been placed in ongoing lesson.
Use advanced search by clicking on find a tutor at the top left. Using the easy to use filter widget, filter out the right tutor for you who has the right qualification, rates, experience, review from other students and learning style you desire. Contact the tutor, confirm their availability that meets your schedule.
Now, post a job. Contact the tutor, but this time you will invite the tutor to apply for the posted lesson. To invite the tutor, when you click ‘contact me’, click on the ‘select a job’ dropdown. Select the recently posted job you’d like to invite the tutor to. Type any other relevant details and send. The tutor will receive an email detailing your offer. The tutor can also click on the job you’re offering and send a proposal directly without having to search for the job.
You can not invite a tutor if you’ve not posted a job. To invite a tutor, you must have posted a job recently, that isn’t booked yet.
Once the tutor send a proposal, then you can continue the booking process as stated in No 1 above.
